This didn’t stop the city’s many casinos from having a job fair this April. The results from that job fair were released by the gaming commission and a total of 517 people have now gained employment as a result of this fair.

Over the past two years, many have lost their jobs, but now the casinos are once again becoming a driving force for the local economy. Gaming table operators, security, food and beverage workers, and housekeeping positions have all been filled from the job fair hires, the fair itself was held on the campus of Atlantic Cape Community College.
